The FA&M is sponsoring a regional Costume Society of America event on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Bohleke, will give an informal talk about the installation and her work with graduate and undergraduate students of Shippensburg University.

Known for sharing her vast knowledge with a touch of humor, her "students" have tanged from the elegant clientele of the Boston Park Plaza Hotel to elementary school children and even inmates in the Virginia Prison System.
In 1994, she was named "Woman of the Year in Prince William County, VA" for her continuing efforts to improve the status and quality of life for women.
