So we built up a list of things that would make a huge difference to the quality of the conversation, and I decided earlier this year that I'd really like to implement those improvements and use a kind of prototype or example to show how well the chatbot operated.
I decided the best way to do this was the create a virtual girlfriend or virtual boyfriend, because that would capture people's imagination the most.
